Inspect the engine when cold. Look for blue/white exhaust smoke, milky oil cap, smooth gear shifts, and dashboard warning lights.

Check panel gaps, respray overspray, seat-belt date tags, and under-carpet rust or mud that could indicate accident or flood history.

Customs duty & DVLA Form C / roadworthy
For foreign-used cars, verify ICUMS/GRA customs duty payment. For registered cars, verify original DVLA Form C, roadworthy, and insurance.
